Batter Tip

When making a batter that uses flour--especially a cake batter--begin and end with the flour. So, while you're mixing, start with flour, mix in the rest of the ingredients (most dry to most wet), and then end with the last bit of flour. It makes the batter much more creamy, and less likely to clump up while it's baking in the oven.
